Regular checks
Regularly check the trailer and the bicycle.
Each time before you use the trailer:
•
check the pressure and condition of the tyres on the
trailer and the bicycle. The tyres must be properly inflated
and in a good state of repair;
•
check that the brakes on the bicycle are working properly;
•
check that the rear light on the trailer and the lights on the
bicycle are working properly;
•
check that the reflectors are clean.
Frequent checks:
•
check the fasteners and joints on the frame, the connection
bar and the system for attachment to the bicycle;
•
check the trailer wheel attachment system;
•
check the fabric to ensure there are no tears or damaged
parts;
•
check the flag and its pole.
Maintenance
Wash the trailer with soap and water. Do not use aggressive
substances.
Inflate the tyres to the recommended pressure given on the
side of each one.
The rear light requires two AAA 1.5 V batteries.
How to disconnect the trailer from the bicycle
Release the supplementary safety strap from the bicycle
frame.
Remove the safety pin.
Release the connection bar from the coupling.
How to fold up the trailer
Follow the instructions for figures 2 and 3 in reverse order.
