5.1. Handling with tea strainer lid
You can replace the standard lid of the kettle with the tea strainer lid. To open the
filter, turn it counterclockwise a bit. Dispense the amount of tea you wish to use
and close the filter. Replace the normal cover with the tea filter cover. The tea
strainer should only be immersed in water if the desired temperature has been
reached. You can control the brewing time by pulling out the plunger.

5.2. "KEEP WARM"
The "KEEP WARM" function allows you to maintain a specific temperature. Press
"Power" and select a temperature with "+/-". Make sure you are only able to
select only 40 ° C, 70 ° C or 80 ° C. Once you have selected your desired tem-
perature, press the "Power" button for about three seconds. The LED will start
flashing. Then the kettle heats up to the previously set value and holds it.
6. Decaling and cleaning
We recommend decalcifying the kettle in regular intervals, depending on the inten-
sity of use. Before cleaning, it is essential to remove the power plug from the sock-
et and wait until the device is completely cooled down. Only use conventional de-
caling agents based on citric acid. Please follow the manufacturer´s instructions for
dosing the respective product you have chosen. The heating element must not be
cleaned and never be processed with sharp or hard objects. For cleaning the outer
surface of the kettle, only use a damp cloth. Never use hard or abrasive objects like
a wire brush or a steel-sponge for cleaning. Please do not use any aggressive clean-
ing agents which could be harmful for human consumption or damage the surface.
