Re-Calibration & Re-Calibration

Under normal operation, re-calibration of
your Jäger heater will not be necessary. Re-
calibration should not be attempted if you do
not have an accurate thermometer or are not
confident that you are able to carry out the
re-calibration procedure. Incorrect re-
calibration of heaters is not covered by
warranty.
If after a day or two in operation the water
temperature does not correspond with the
temperature shown on the temperature
selector ring and you wish to re-calibrate
the heater so that the measured temperature
corresponds to the selected temperature
you need to follow the procedure listed below.
- The heater must remain submersed in the
aquarium water during the following
procedure.
- Switch OFF & Unplug your heater from the
mains supply.
- Measure the water temperature with an
accurate thermometer.
- With the heater still submersed in the water,
pull out the button
- Adjust the temperature selector ring
the indicator arrow
corresponds to the water temperature
measured.
- Push the button
– Re-calibration is now complete.
- Plug your heater into the mains supply and
Switch it ON.
