CHANGE OF WATER

After washing 250 wheels, you should change the water and clean the machine.
Please note that when the machine is filled with water, it may only be lifted with a fork-lift from the FRONT, not
from the back or from the side. Otherwise you risk to damage the bottom tray. Note that the forks of the fork-lift MUST
reach all the way under the machine and out on backside (see picture 2).
PROCEDURE FOR THE STANDARD MACHINE:
1. First, the granula should be collected as follows. Top up with water until the water level reaches the upper notch of the
red level indicator (see picture 6). Place the granula basket in the wash compartment (see picture 10) and close the
hood. Press the yellow button with the granula basket symbol (nr 4 picture 9) and let the machine run until it stops
automatically (approx 5 min).
As the granula is collected in the basket, you can easily check that you have the correct amount of granula, by checking
that the granula level reaches the notches on the side of the basket (see picture 17). If this is not the case, top up with
some more granula. (The granula should be replaced completely once a year or after 10.000 wash-cycles).
2. Empty the used water into the drain using the drain hose (see picture 3). Pay attention to local waste water legislation.
You may leave the water resting in the machine over the weekend, to let the heavy dirt settle on the bottom and avoid
that it will be drained out alongside the water to the full extent.
3. Remove the entrance platform for better access (see picture 11). Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the
machine with a proper shovel. Please note that the dirt should be handled as hazardous waste.
4. Rinse the inside of the machine. On the same time, rinse the granula collected in the basket.
5. Put the granula back into the machine by turning the basket over, and top up with water until the lower notch of the red
level indicator is reached (see picture 6). Remove the granula basket, and re-fit the entrance platform. Note that the
granula basket must not be left in the machine when running a wash-cycle, since the basket as well as the driving shaft in
that case will be damaged.
IF THE MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH TWO DRAINHOSES:
1. Collect the granula as described under point 1 above.
2. Empty the used water into the drain using the upper drain hose (see picture 3). Pay attention to local waste water
legislation.
3. Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the machine with a proper shovel, or by using a sludge sucker with at
least 60 litres capacity. Please note that the sludge should be handled as hazardous waste.
4. Put the lower drainhose to the drain, and rinse the inside of the machine. On the same time, rinse the granula collected
in the basket.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD IF THE MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH TWO DRAINHOSES:
If desired, the machine can be equipped with an original optional product, the "WATER CLEANING KIT 15010". With this
kit the water can be cleared from all contaminations before it is being emptied out from the machine.
IF THE MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN IMMERSION HEATER:
The heater will be automatically disconnected as the the collection od granula is started, to avoid overheating as the
water is being emptied out from the machine.
The heater will not be reconnected until the machine is filled with water and the first wash-cycle is performed.
