The bus node CPX−FB38 for CPX terminals is designed
solely for use as a participant (I/O device or box") in an
EtherCAT network.
The maximum values specified in the section Technical
specifications" must be observed here. Detailed informa
tion can be found in the bus node manual P.BE−CPX−FB38−...
as well as in the CPX system manual P.BE−CPX−SYS−...
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before you install or
remove modules or connect or disconnect plug
connectors (risk of functional disturbances or
damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204−1.
S Connect an earthing cable with sufficient
cross−sectional area to the connection on the CPX
terminal marked with the earth symbol.
S The CPX bus node contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Therefore, do not touch any contacts.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostati
cally sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been
completely installed and connected.
