3.5 Start−up behaviour of the CPX terminal
If the Modify (M) LED lights up permanently or flashes after
the system start, then System start with saved parameter

3.6 Remarks on module exchange
Caution
In the case of CPX terminals on which the M−LED lights
up permanently or flashes, parameterizing will not be
restored automatically by the higher−order system if the
CPX terminal is replaced after servicing. In this case,
check before replacement to see which settings are
required, and return to these settings after exchange.
3.7 Parameterizing
Please note
To parameterize the CPX terminal and the related bus
node, the Festo Handheld (CPX−MMI) or Festo Mainten
ance Tool (CPX−FMT) must be used. Parameterization
via superordinate control (IPC or SPS) is not possible.
