Do not modify the power cable plug.
Use a compatible socket with the plug
of this machine. Do not use any type of
adapter.
The use of extension cords to connect
the power cable is not recommended.
However, if you use an extension, you
should take some precautions, such as:
� If using this machine outdoors, use
only suitable extension cords for
outdoor use. Using a proper extension
cord reduces de risk of electric shock.
� Use only extension cords, plugs and
sockets with ground connection;
� The extension cable section must be
proportional to the length and have
equal or higher characteristics to the
machine's power cord.
� Do not use damaged extension cords.
Check them before using and replace
if necessary.
� Always unplug the extension cord
before removing the machine's power
cable.
� When it's an extension cord reel, unroll
the entire cable;

2.3 - BEFORE OPERATING

Make sure that the machine is only used
by who is familiar with the instruction
manual.
To ensure a safe operation, you must:
� Check the power tool before using
it. Check that all the accessories are
correctly assembled and attached to
the machine and in good conditions.
Never use damaged accessories;
� Check if all nuts and screws are
properly tightened. It is important to
check the machine regularly in order to
ensure its security and efficiency;
� After assembling the accessories and
before using the equipment, test it at
full speed at no load for a few seconds.
Verify if there are any misalignments in
the moving parts or any condition that
may affect its normal operation. Check
if every moving parts are rotating
properly, without abnormal noises nor
sparks;
� Check if the safety devices are
in perfect conditions and working
correctly. Never use the machine if
any safety device is missing, inhibited,
damaged or worn;
� Make sure that the switch is off when
you plug in the power cable. If the
button is damaged or doesn't allow to
control the machine's operation, it must
be repaired or replaced in order to
prevent an unintentionally start;
� Remove any key or adjustment tool
before switch the machine on. A stuck
key in the rotating accessory might
result in injuries;

and in case of doubts ask your
distributor for assistance.

2.4 - WHILE OPERATING

Keep other people away from
the workspace. Never use the
machine
if
animals
particularly children, are nearby.
Keep the workspace clean, organized
and well illuminated (brightness 250
to 300 lux), in order to reduce the risk
of accidents.
Always
wear
personal
equipment. Using protection glasses,
a P2 protection mask, ear protection,
non-slip safety footwear, gloves and
helmet
under
proper
reduces the risk of injury.
Everyone that enters the work area must
wear personal protective equipment.
Fragments can be projected while
using the tool and cause injuries
outside the direct work area.
The clothing worn while operating
the machine must be appropriate and
tight, such as a work coverall. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
hair, clothing and gloves away from the
moving parts.
To avoid the risk of accidents, the
following
considered:
� The rated speed
accessories must be, at least, equal to
the maximum speed indicated on the
technical specifications;
� While using this tool, place yourself
in a stable position and well balanced.
Hold the machine firmly with both
hands to ensure a continuous operation
and to withstand unexpected situations,
such as a kickback;
� The kickback is a sudden reaction that
happens when the tool is switched on
and the rotating accessory gets stuck
or is jammed. The kickback causes an
instantly stop of the rotating accessory,
which in turn causes the tool to be
forced in the opposite direction of the
rotating accessory;
� The kickback occurs due to an
incorrect use of the tool or due to a
not proper work procedure which
or

can cause serious injuries to the user.
To avoid the kickback, the following
precautions must be considered:
- Always use the side handle to have
as much control as possible over the
kickback forces or reaction torques
when operating the tool at start-up and
protective
acceleration;
- Place and keep the rotating accessory
in the right position and well tightened;
