� When the rotating accessory gets
stuck, turn the tool off immediately.
In case of losing machine's control,
unplug the power cable;
� To avoid displacements or projections
use a fixing tool or a bench vice to
ensure a safe performance. Place/
maintain the object in a correct and
stable position;
� The velcro pad fixing thread must
match (type and size) the specifications
of the spindle's screw. Wrong size
accessories will not be protected or
controlled properly;
� The accessories must be operated, at
least, at tool's maximum speed. If that
does not happen, the accessories might
damage and cause injuries to the user;
� Never leave the machine before
the rotating accessory has stopped
completely. It may come into contact
with the surface, causing the user to
lose control over the tool;
� Make sure the ventilation openings are
not obstructed during operation. Do not
insert any objects inside the grids;
� Make sure that any circuits or pipes
will not be damaged while operating the
tool. Any damage in these installations
might provoke fires, explosions, electric
shocks or material losses;
While operating the tool, schedule
some time to rest and avoid using it
for long periods of time. Permanent
vibration is very harmful.
A massive load of vibrations may
damage
nervous
and
systems, particularly to whom have
circulatory problems. Inform your
doctor if any symptoms arise caused
by vibration. Among these symptoms,
that occur specially on fingers, hands
and wrists, is also included loss of
sensation, pain muscle weakness, skin
discoloration or tingling sensation.
Avoid using the machine on surfaces
coated with paints containing lead or

other materials harmful to health. Any
contact or inhalation of dust may cause
allergic reactions and / or breathing
diseases. Wear a mask and work with
a dust extraction device if the machine
allows it.
Materials containing asbestos cannot
be worked. Asbestos is carcinogenic;
2.5 - MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, adjusting, repairing
and maintenance works, the power
cable must be unplugged.
Replace worn or damaged parts
immediately, so that the machine is
always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The machine must be carefully cleaned
after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning
products. These products may damage
plastics and metals, compromising the
safe operation of the machine.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in
this instruction manual may be carried
out; all other works must be performed
by an official distributor.
Keep all the nuts and screws well
tightened in order to ensure a safe
operation.
If any components or safety devices are
removed for maintenance works, they
circulatory
must be repositioned immediately.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this
machine or technically identical parts.
Not doing so may result in personal
injuries or damages to the machine. In
case of doubt, you should contact an
official distributor.
2.6 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
The tool must be repaired only by the
brand official technical service or by
qualified technicians and only with
original replacement parts.
3. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - SIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
(FIG. B)
The side handle can be installed
in to different positions (on the
left and right sides of the gearbox) to
better suit the machine to the use rand
the work to be performed.
1.
Adjust
the
perforations
embossings of the side handle (6)
at the perforations and slots of the
gearbox (4);
2. Insert the hexagonal screws in the
side handle perforations and tighten
them in the gearbox fixing threads;
3.2 - INSTALLING THE
POLISHING PAD IN THE
VELCRO PLATE (FIG. C)
1. Install the wool polishing pad (1)
in the velcro plate (2) with the wool
surface facing outwards;
2. Tighten the pad's fixing cord;
3. Place the cord in the pad's bottom;
3.3 - VELCRO PLATE
ASSEMBLY (FIG. D)
1. Tighten the velcro plate thread (2) in
the rotating shaft screw (3);
2. Press the spindle locking button (5)
and rotate the velcro plate until the
shaft locks;
3. Tighten the velcro plate counter
clockwise;
