RADIATOR PRESSURE TESTER KIT
1. Carefully unscrew and remove the
radiator cap using a damp cloth or
gloves and arm protection if the
radiator cap is known to be hot.
2. Select the correct adaptor or
configuration of the adjustable
clamping cap and accessories, it is
securely fi tted to the fi ller neck of the
radiator or expansion tank.
3. Attach the "push-fi t" connector onto
the male tailpiece of the adaptor
assembly fi tted to the radiator.
4. Pump the hand pump plunger and
check the reading indicated on the
gauge. Ideal readings should range
between 12-15PSI (refer to the
manufacturer's workshop manual
for the specifi c parameters of the
vehicle being tested), if the pressure
level is below the specifi c range, this
indicates that there is a leak in the
radiator or a hose that is contributing
to the problem with the vehicle.
5. Once the test is complete, release
the air pressure by pressing
pressure release valve, disconnect
the "push-fi t" connector and remove
the adaptor assembly.
