Fasten the upper side to the screw-on point [5] using the AH screw M8 x 70
included in the scope of supply..
Remount the footrest supports and trunk holder with 2 M8x30 flat-head
screws [6]. Secure the screws with Loctite 243.
Bolt on the rear connecting rod [7] with the M6 x 20 AH screws, the washers
and the self-locking nuts included in the scope of supply.
Finally, tighten all of the screws to the following torques:
Flat-head screws (upper) M8x60 and M8x70 (75) . . . . . . . .25Nm
AH screw M8x70 upper side . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .25Nm
Flat-head screws for passenger footrest support M8x30 . . . .25Nm
Screws for DIN912 M6x20 rod . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .10Nm
Both halves of the trunk holder systems must be mounted. Also make sure
the same type of trunk is mounted on both sides and that the weight distri-
bution is symmetrical. The maximum payload is limited by the trunks. Please
read the instructions provided with the trunks carefully.
Mounting the trunks on the trunk holder system will make the vehicle wider.
The different weight distribution caused by the added load may change the
vehicle handling. Adapt your driving behavior to the new circumstances.
Trunk combination options
The following trunks will fit on the trunk holder 6001202000/60012020100
without requiring any adapters or intermediate parts:

„Adventure" 60012025000 side trunk (trunk set consisting of a left and
right trunk)

Aluminum 35-liter side trunk 60012024000 (1 can be used on the left
or right)

Aluminum 41-liter side trunk 60012024100 (1 can be used on the left
or right)
