i) Automatic power-off
1. When the meter is out of use or stays at a position for more than 15 min, the meter
will be powered off and enter the sleep mode automatically.
2. After automatically powered off, the meter can be wakened by turning the function
switch or pressing the button once.
3. If the function/position switch is at voltage, current or resistance position and the
" " button is pressed to waken the meter after automatic power-off, the automatic
power-off function will be deactivated.

Servicing

Do not attempt to repair or service the meter unless you are a qualified professional
technician and have sufficient instructions for calibration, performance testing and
repair, except for replacing batteries. The recommended calibration period is 12 months.
Wipe the casing regularly with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not use abrasives
or solvents. If the terminal is dirty or wet, it may reduce the accuracy of reading.
Clean the terminals as follows:
1. Turn off the meter and remove the test leads.
2. Shake off the dust that may be present in the terminals.
3. Take a new cotton ball dipped in alcohol and clean the inside of each input terminal
carefully.
