7. Before use, check that the meter is working properly by measuring a known voltage.
8. Use only designated replacement parts during repair.
9. Exercise caution when working with voltages above 30Vac rms, 42Vac peak or 60Vdc.
These voltages pose a shock hazard.
10. When using the test probes, keep your fingers behind the finger guards.
11. During connection, connect the common test lead before the live test lead. During
removal of the wiring, remove the live test lead before the common test lead.
12. Before opening the battery cover or casing, remove the probes and move the head
off the measured conductor or circuit.
13. Do not use the meter when the battery cover or
a part of the casing is removed or loosened.
14. Do not use the meter when the user's hand or environment is humid, or when the
meter is humid.
15.When the low battery symbol "
immediately. Low battery voltage can cause false readings, resulting in electric shock
or personal injury.
16. To avoid electric shock, the user should not be in contact with any exposed or live
conductors.
17. Comply with related local and national safety regulations. When working in close
proximity to live conductors with a risk of electric shock, use the necessary protection
equipment to prevent electric shock and arcing damage.
18. Do not measure the current on circuits with a voltage greater than 600V.
19. Do not use the probes included in the meter on other meters.
20. When a dangerous voltage is supplied to an input terminal, please note that this
voltage may be supplied to all the other terminals.
21. CAT III: Primary circuit of large equipment (fixed equipment) directly connected to the
switchboard and electrical circuit between the switchboard and the outlet. Do not
use this meter for measurements that fall within CAT IV.
