Changing batteries
Low battery power is indicated by green and red LED plus a sound signal
on log-in. Th e batteries should then be replaced.
All users and settings are retained in the system even if batteries are not
connected.
Notes for changing batteries:
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time.
• Batteries should be of the same make.
• Batteries should be LR6 1.5V.
• Alkaline batteries should be used to ensure reliability.
Th e battery holder is on the inside of the door. Disconnect battery lead and
replace batteries. Ensure that battery polarity corresponds to that marked
on the battery holder.
Emergency opening
If batteries are not changed in time, the cabinet will be left without power.
To cover this eventuality, the cabinet is fi tted with two separate systems for
emergency opening:
1. Hold the terminals of a 9-V battery (6LR61) against the two round
contacts on the keyboard. Th e cabinet may now be opened normally using
the programmed PIN codes or RFID tags.
2. Behind the black cover plate to the right of the handle, there is an emer-
gency opening cylinder. Remove the cover and use the emergency opening
key to turn the cylinder about 45° anticlockwise. Hold key in this position
and at the same time turn the handle clockwise to open door.
