The thermo-electric cooling system Minibar of the DT series is both reliable and safe, since it has no gas
or coolant, or any moving mechanical part.
This cooling system is based on the use of direct current; on the contact surface of two different conducting
substances, on one side (cold side) heat is absorbed, on the other (hot) side, heat is generated (see figure
01).
I N S TR U C TI O N S
This product is designed to serve professional purposes (hotels, cruise ships or similar).
The minibars cannot be installed in the open, even if they are covered by a canopy. Inset minibars
(identifiable aesthetically by the fact that they are not fitted with a wooden case around the unit and do
not have the initials MB) will have to be set into an item of furniture and not left free standing.
When connecting the minibar do not to use multi-socket extensions and make sure that the cable does
not kink or become compressed if the minibar is being fitted between other elements of furniture.
Remember that any cleaning or maintenance work should only be carried out after the minibar has been
disconnected from the mains. Please note that it is not sufficient to set the switch, located below the lamp
to 0 to avoid any risk of electrical contact.
Only if the appliance is correctly installed will it give the best possible performance and reliability.

which are the result of any installation not complying with the installation procedure shown in this manual.
