6.0 - DEVICE LOCKOUT
If, during the test sequence, a leak in one of the two valves, a pressure switch fault or an error on the control board is
detected, the device goes into lockout.
The lockout is saved by the device and remains engaged even in the event of a power failure.
To unlock the device, press and hold the "RESET" button (9) for at least 5". It can be unlocked by using a remote control that
can be connected through the terminal
Using the remote unlocking control, the device accepts a maximum of 5 consecutive unlocks in 15 minutes.
Once the 5 consecutive unlocks have been completed in 15 minutes, the remote unlocking function will no longer be available.
Unlock the device by pressing the "RESET" button (9) on the device.
The unlock function is always active without operation and time restrictions by pressing the "RESET" button (9) on the device.
The LEDs on the device provide the necessary information to identify and solve the type of lockout present (see table 1).
7.0 - CONNECTION CABLES
IMPORTANT: The maximum length of all the cables must NOT exceed 3 metres.
• The wiring cannot have cables connected directly to the device. ALWAYS and ONLY use the connector identified by the
manufacturer;
• Before wiring the connector (8), fully unscrew and remove the central screw (11). Use the designated cable terminals
(general figure below). NOTE: The wiring of the connector (8) and the terminal board (6) with cable clamps (5) and a cover
(4) must be carried out by ensuring the product's IP65 protection rating;
• Wire the connector (8) with 3x0.75mm² cable for external Ø 6.2 to 8.1 mm. The cable must be in double sheath, suitable for
outdoor use, with a minimum voltage of 500V and a temperature of at least 60°C;
• Secure the connector (8) to the device by tightening the centre screw (11) (recommended torque 0.4 N.m ± 10%);
• Wire the terminal board (6) with a cable 3x1 mm², outside Ø between 8.3 and 9.5 mm using the relative terminals for cables,
as shown in the general figure below. The cable must feature a double sheath, suitable for outdoor use, with a minimum
voltage of 500V and a temperature of at least 105°C;
• Refer to the wiring diagrams in 5.1 - 5.2 - 5.3 for the connections
8.0 - CONTROL PRESSURE SWITCH
The test section pressure is monitored using one or two EN 1854 certified pressure switches. See 4.2 for the calibration of
the pressure switch.
9.0 - MAINTENANCE
No maintenance or periodic checks of the device are required.
10.0 - TEST VOLUME
The test volume is the section of pipe on which the leak test is carried out.
When calculating the test volume, all the pipe sections between the two main valves and the auxiliary valves (if present) must
be considered.
