the whole surface of the hob and,
using a non-abrasive sponge, clean
the entire surface thoroughly by hand.
When the operation is over, rinse the
hob abundantly with tap water. Have
the drain water flow out through the
specific hole and empty the tank (see
"Deactivation").
When these operations have been
performed successfully, dry the
hob carefully using a non-abrasive
cloth. Set the temperature at the
minimum for about 10' to safely dry
the hotplates. If necessary, repeat the
operations described above for a new
cleaning cycle.
For the parts removed, clean with
detergent and tap water, dry carefully
and reposition in the correct order.
Replace the parts removed in the
correct order (if necessary)
CHROMED HOTPLATES: Use a
resistant plastic scraper to remove
incrustations. Clean the hotplate with
a moist cloth. Turn the appliance on
to dry it (See Daily activation). When
the operations described are finished,
lubricate it with a light coating of food-

Before proceeding with the ope-
rations, see chap.2 "Duties and
qualifications"
Should a problem occur, the ge-
neric operator performs the first
search and, if qualified, elimina-
tes the cause of the problem and resto-
res the appliance correctly.
If the problem cannot be resol-
ved, turn the appliance off, di-
sconnect it from the electrical mains
and shut all the supply valves. Then
contact authorized customer service.
The authorized maintenance te-
chnician intervenes when the
generic operator was not able to pin-
point the cause of the problem, or
whenever restoration of correct ope-
