HOW TO OPERATE

Before first use, clean the inside of the unit by wiping with a moist, non-abrasive
sponge, towel or cloth and then wipe with a non-abrasive dry towel.
1. First, place the unit on a flat surface near an electrical outlet. Make
sure the power cord is away from any water source.
2. Make sure the Power Switch is flipped to OFF, then plug into the electrical outlet.
3. Next, add ice cubes to the Ice Hopper by removing the clear lid from the top of the unit.
Remove the lid by pushing the release button found on the lid, and then lifting upwards.
NOTE: When placing ice cubes into the Ice Hopper, be sure to allow enough room
for the clear lid to be placed back onto the unit. NEVER force the lid shut.
4. Return the clear lid to the top of the unit, then flip the Power Switch to ON. This will activate
the unit and begin shaving ice.
NOTE: As a safety feature, the unit will not shave ice unless
the clear lid has been properly secured.
5. When all ice in the Ice Hopper has been shaved, flip the Power Switch to OFF.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 until you have your desired amount of shaved ice.
7. Once you have your desired amount of ice, open the door on the Main
Unit and use the ice scoop to shovel shaved ice into snow cones. Top
with your favorite snow cone syrup for a tasty snow-based treat!
8. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet when finished.
