10. Bleed the air from the hydraulic tubing as follows:
A. Tighten tubing connection at P141 and at the mini-
cylinder closest to the P141. See Figure 10.
B. Leaving only the tubing connection at the other
mini-cylinder loose, close the release valve on the
P141 and slowly pump the handle until oil starts to
drip from the loose connection. This should require
only a few strokes.
C. Tighten the loose tubing at that mini-cylinder, and
loosen tubing at the mini-cylinder closest to the
P141.
D. Close the release valve on the P141 and slowly
pump the handle until oil starts to drip from the
connection. This should require only a few strokes.
E. Tighten tubing on the mini-cylinder. Pressurize the
circuit and check for leaks.

4.0 INSTALLATION
WARNING: Install proper safety equipment (i.e.
guards or control devices) as required for your
specific application.
WARNING: Mount the press securely as instructed.
Unstable positioning may cause the press to tip,
resulting in injury or equipment damage.
NOTE: All references to left or right sides are as viewed with
the lifting jack to the right.
1. Position the press assembly in a suitable location. Make
sure the press is level. Press dimensions are shown in
the specifications list. If the press is to be mounted to
the floor or a permanent base, use
longer bolts. The table legs are not usually subjected to
high degrees of lateral stress, but mounting bolts should
be chosen based on anticipated usage.
2. For shipping, the 50 and 100 ton press beds are locked
to the frame with four
by closing the release valve Figure 11 (B), and
pumping the handle until the effort is noticeably harder.
The mini-cylinders will extend, raising the frame
assembly off the press bed. Remove the shipping bolts.
3. Loosen the four bed setscrews about 1 inch, Figure 11
(C) . Slowly open the hand pump release valve (B). The
bed will lower onto the bed rollers (D).
