4.11 Use of extension

Use must be made of the extension for a 1900 – 2 400
mm wheelbase and a maximum distance of more than
200 mm between the outer edge of the platform and
the outer edge of the tyre (Y).For "Y" refer to the Sec-
tion "Position of vehicle on measurement bay".

The extension is only to be used with the Multi-Fit
wheel clamp .
4.12 Measurement boardsize selection
i
The standard measurement board for passenger
vehicles can be used for measuring wheelbases of
up to max. 3400 mm.
i
For wheelbases in excess of 3400 mm, the large
commercial vehicle boards must be used.

1. Lightly lubricate the socket pins of the measurement
board to protect the pin and socket.
2. Attach the four measurement boards to the holder.

3. Use the spirit level (1) to align the measurement
