The RED LED :
² Is lit when the switch is not at "SHUTDOWN" and the product is heating up.
² The red LED flashes in Forced Mode.
² When you program the 2-hour TIMER the LED flashes red three times in a row,
to confirm the time has been stored, then it flashes during the successive forced
periods.
If the NTC resistor short-circuits or cuts out, or if there is no fluid in the towel dryer,
the product enters safety mode and the two LEDS flash alternately (Green/Red).
4 - Knowing and getting the best out of your
towel dryer
4.1 - Electric towel dryer radiators
This fluid circulation electric device is delivered ready to use.
It is capped and filled in the factory with high heat efficiency mineral oil. This fluid,
specially designed for this use, is inalterable and does not require any special servicing.
This heater is filled with a quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring the oil reservoir to
be opened must only be carried out by the manufacturer or its after sales service, which
must be contacted in the event of an oil leak.
As soon as the device is switched on, you will notice different phenomena to those
occurring on a conventional electric heater :
² The electric resistor heats the fluid, which starts progressively and naturally
circulating inside the towel dryer.
² The inertial properties of the fluid ensure that the surface temperature of the towel
dryer only reaches an optimum level after at least 10 mins, depending on the
models and the ambient temperature of the room when the device is heating up.
It is this inertia that, on the other hand, ensures a constant long-lasting heat
production, even when the power supply to the resistor is no longer active.
It is normal to observe that the upper and lower parts of the towel dryer are not as hot
as the rest of the heating unit. In fact, to enable the necessary expansion of the fluid as
it heats up, the towel dryer is not totally filled. Since the volume of air is naturally
located in the upper part, it is normal for certain upper elements to appear less hot.
Also, the fluid dissipates its heat by circulating inside the elements, and cools down,
consequently leaving the lower parts of the towel dryer at a lower temperature.
