A Function
Motor body

The immersion pump can only be used in the aquarium under water and must
not run dry.
Cable length 1.5 m, temperature range max. 35°C. The motor is protected
against overheating.
B Installation
Insert the suckers into the bottom 4 openings on the motor body and pump
housing. Attach the pump below the water surface to the inner wall of the
tank.
C Putting into operation
The flow rate can be adjusted if desired by shifting the
range. The device is put into operation by the power plug.
D Care and cleaning
Unplug the power plug. Pull the pump housing off the motor body to the front
with strong pressure. Take out the pump wheel with built-in axle.
Wash out all pump parts thoroughly and celan with the brush set (no.
4009560). Possible lime deposits can be removed by putting the pump parts
in vinegar for a few hours.
Then re-assemble all the parts in the appropriate order.
E Maintenance
The self-lubricating bearing bushes can cause noises after longer operating
time and should be exchanged in this case: Unplug the power plug. Pull off
the pump housing to the front and extract the pump wheel.
The bearing bushes are located in the pump housing and on the back of the
motor body respectively. Take out the bushes (at motor body press inwards)
and replace with new set of bushes (Order no. 7445918). The guide holes
must point inwards, press both bushes firmly into their mountings.
