Height adjustment of the (VFN 5000) unloader
The VFN 5000 is shipped from the factory adjusted to the typical unloading height. Its chassis is
equipped with a device for adjusting the unloading height, making it possible to adapt the wagon to
diverse feeding trough heights.
Do not perform the following described adjustment without first securely
immobilizing the machine (with chocks). We recommend letting the authorized
Nogueira Reseller perform this adjustment.
CAREFUL!
ADJUSTMENT:
- Remove screws A from the 3 turnbuckles B.
- Using a rod, turn the 3 turnbuckles B, moving the wagon body equally.
- When you reach the desired height, assemble the 6 screws again A.

Operation
Before turning on the wagon, check the following:
- Make sure, there are no people of animals nearby. They must be kept away at a safe distance from
the machine.
- Make sure the driveshaft is well latched (to the tractor and the wagon).
After the Wagon is properly coupled, start the tractor motor, turn on the power take-off and increase
the acceleration little by little, until reaching 540 RPM (in most tractors, 540 RPM in the power take-
off corresponds to between 1700 to 2100 RPM on the tachometer).
IMPORTANT: While filling the Wagon from harvesting, do not unload the product around the
decompactor rollers. The excess product around the rollers hinders the operation of these
rollers, which can cause the fuse to break when starting to unload into the feed trough.
During the first few hours of operation, constantly check the unloading conveyor belt.
Remove any excessive play, by adjusting the chains, as described in this manual.
