The optical chamber can be vertically adjusted
by sliding on accurate, noiseless plastic blocks
and, balanced by a spring, is mounted in a
sheet metal covering, where a centimetre scale
is available for perfect placement compared to
the headlight.
The digital display allows easy reading of light
intensity.
The viewer that makes it easier to align the
equipment with the vehicle can be supplied
either as a mirror device,
or with a laser beam.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

The rules below must be strictly followed, to
prevent the operator from being harmed and
the machine from being damaged.
– Read the labels on the device; do not cover
them for any reason, and replace them
immediately, in case they should get
damaged.
– The device may be used by authorized,
trained personnel only.
– Do not use the device in an explosive
atmosphere.
– The work environment must be dry and
adequately ventilated.
– While handling the device, be careful not to
hurt other people and, above all, children.
– Do not hit any shelving systems or scaffolds
where any objects might fall, as you may be
harmed and the device may get damaged.
– The storage temperature must range
between -5 °C and +55 °C.
– The working temperature must range
between +5 °C and +45 °C.
– Use a suitable exhaust gas suction system,
as the headlight test must be performed with
the engine running. Accidental inhalation of
carbon monoxide may cause severe harm to
the body, sometimes with fatal
consequences. Please contact your area
agent, who will recommend the system that
suits your company best.
– Do not leave the headlight tester under
sunlight or in close proximity to hot objects,
including stoves and radiators.
– Do not leave the headlight tester under the
rain or in an excessively humid place; the
electronic circuits would get damaged.
– Cover the headlight tester, if it is not going to
be used for a long period of time.
– The headlight tester contains a battery;
misusing such batteries involves a risk of fire
or explosion. To prevent such risks, do not
heat, or use any naked flames towards, the
battery and, if it should need replacing, use
