Preparation and installing the driveshaft (continuation)
- The pieces cut from the male and female sides
of the driveshaft must be the same length.
- See the instruction pamphlet on cutting the
driveshaft fastened to the driveshaft.
AFTER CUTTING:
Do the finishing on the cut ends using a file.
Lubricate them by applying a thin coating of
grease. Fit the two parts of the driveshaft
together. Make sure the forks are alligned.
KEEPING THE FORKS ALIGNED
- It is necessary to check the length of the
driveshaft when using a different model of tractor.
- Clean and lubricate the power take-off (in the
tractor and the machine) before connecting the
driveshaft.
- After installing the driveshaft, fasten the safety
chains and leave some play for the articulation of
possible working conditions.
- It is the exclusive responsibility of the authorized
Nogueira reseller to perform the preparation of
the driveshaft axle and the first test run of the
machine.

Disconnect the power take-off when
maneuvering the coupled machine.
Never use the driveshaft without the safety
shielding cover. Touching the moving
driveshaft can result in a serious accident.
Keep away from the machine when it is
operating.
