Operation (continuation)
Start the feeding of the machine by unloading the
grains inside the hopper of the Grain Silo Filler.
After the machine has advanced about 2 meters,
use a tape measure to measure the stretching of
the bag. It must maintain this measurement and
not exceed it. If the bag is stretched too much, it
will exceed the indicated value on the scale, so it
is necessary to decrease the brake pressure. On
the other hand, it is necessary to increase the
pressure. The instructions for adjusting the
brakes are in this manual.
REMINDER:
Do not use the tractor brakes, but only the brakes
in the Grain Silo Filler.
If the bag is loose:
- increase the braking pressure.
If the bag is stretched too much:
- decrease the braking pressure.
Concluding the operation
Generally, there is a marking on the limit filling
limit of the bag. When this marking is displayed,
proceed as follows:
1- Stop feeding the Grain Silo Filler.
fig.57
2- Open the value (B) of the pump.
fig.58
3- Decrease the brake system pressure by
opening the valve a little (A), until the tractor
stops moving.
4- Remove the elastic strap from the bag.
5- Start the tractor and move it forwards, until
the bag comes completely off the Grain Silo
Filler.
6- Then to close the bag, fold the end of it
downwards, and insert it under the cereal.
Following that, cover the entire end with dirt.
NOTES:
Hermetic closure of the bag is very important in
order to avoid any air from entering inside the
bag. Observe and follow the manufacturer's
instructions of your bag.
If the bag does not show a marking for the
maximum filling, then consider the limit to be
when there are only three folds on the
cylindrical body of the machine.
Do not perform bag filling under the stretching
rating as recommended by the manufacturer
(the scale is printed on the bag).
The increased air concentration will affect the
quality of the stored product.
