Recommendations:In very hard-water regions (Th>20°F), the use of a softener will not
invalidate the warranty as long as the softener is set up in accordance with standard practice
and is checked and maintained regularly. The water hardness must remain above 12°f.
The warranty does not cover faults due to causes including but not limited to:
Abnormal environmental conditions:
• Domestic water supply with particularly abnormal aggression criteria.

• Damage caused by frost, lightning or fl ood, faulty taps, poor ventilation and in general any
cause acknowledged to be exceptional.
Installations that do not comply with regulations, standards and best practice:
• Absence or incorrect fi tting of a new safety valve or safety unit complying with the standard,
changes to the unit's settings after tampering with the seal
• Abnormal corrosion due to incorrect hydraulic connection (direct iron-copper contact)
• Water pressure higher than 5 bar at the inlet to the device
Faulty maintenance:
• Abnormal scaling of safety components
• Defect resulting from abnormal use, a failure in monitoring or maintenance, deterioration
or accidents caused by negligence or operations by third parties
• Presence of aggressive vapours (chlorine, solvents etc.)
• Deterioration caused by the use of spare parts not specifi ed by the manufacturer
• Poor maintenance or accidental malfunction of the safety unit resulting in excess pressure.
The provisions above do not invalidate the legal warranty covering hidden defects.
Equipment presumed to have caused damage must remain in place for inspection by
experts, and the claimant must inform his insurer.
11. END OF LIFE
The apparatus must be dismantled and recycled by a specialist service provider.
The apparatus must never be disposed of with household waste, large objects or in landfill.
When the apparatus reaches the end of its life, please contact your installer or the local
representative in order to proceed with the dismantling and recycling of the apparatus.
