6. Installing the material end sensor

WARNING :
To protect against personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, conduct maintenance works with
the power turned off.

Change the jumper pin for material end sensor from
+5V to +12V.
(+5V has been set at the time of delivery from the factory.)
The material end sensor does not oper-
ate properly unless this setting is per-
formed.
1) Install luminescence sensor 1 with screws 2 so
that it is in parallel to the cloth plate.
2) Fix the sensor cord 3 with cord clamp 5 so that it
is not caught with presser lifting lever 4.
