Adjusting the Airflow Direction
■ To adjust the louvers (vertical
blades)
Hold the knob and move the louvers.
(You will find a knob on the left-side and the right-side
blades.)
• When the unit is installed in the corner of a room, the
direction of the louvers should be facing away from the
wall.
If they face the wall, the wall will block off the wind,
causing the cooling (or heating) efficiency to drop.
CAUTION
• Always use a remote controller to adjust the angles of the flap. If you attempt to move it
forcibly with hand when it is swinging, the mechanism may be broken.
• Be careful when adjusting the louvers. Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
NOTE
■ Notes on the angles of the flap
• The flap swinging range depends on the
operation. (See the figure.)
• If the air conditioner is operated in HEAT or
DRY operation with the flap kept stopped in
the downward direction, the flap will
automatically start operating in approx. an
hour in order to prevent dew condensation.
