DO NOT SPRAY THE IRONER WITH WATER.
6.3.
Routine maintenance by the operator.
During the use of the machine, cleaning and maintenance, you have to make sure that no tools are put
inside or hands in the moving parts (motor, chain, etc.). In the event of an accident, the manufacturer will
not be held liable for any damage the operator or anybody else suffers during the use, cleaning or
maintenance of the machine. Wash the panels of the coating with a damp cloth periodically; do not use
inflammable or abrasive products.
Every 200 hours of operation it is advisable to apply antistatic wax on the ironing surface of the plate to
prevent unpleasant rubbing with the linen to keep the plate clean at all times. Instructions for applying
the wax appear on the container.
Every 200 hours of operation, disassemble the outer cover of the roller releasing the ties underneath the
fabric, on the sides of the roller, wash the fabric with hot water (first cover) and put the padding into soak
with cold water (second cover). Then dry the padding in the shade and put the slightly damp fabric back
on not ironed.
Always leave the plate open (in other words, separated from the roller) when the maintenance has been
finished.
BEFORE POWERING THE MACHINE AGAIN USING THE MAIN SWITCH, PUT THE PANELS THAT
HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED ON AGAIN.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING AND ALARMS
7.1.
Troubleshooting.
If the machine does not work, control the following:
That the main switch is one and the machine is receiving power.
That the emergency stop is unlocked.
That the start button (START) has been pressed.
If the ends of the cylinder go too dark and the centre of the iron increasingly less, you will have to
start to iron with the sides to make the most of the temperature of the surface of the plate and in
this way the cylinder will become even again and you will be able to iron properly again.
The plate heat up too much and damages the clothes or does not heat up enough:
o Control the adjustment of the thermostat's temperature and make sure that it is
compatible with the material you are ironing.
o Check that starting with the plate open and cold, the machine reaches the top
temperature of the scale in 15 minutes at the most.
The plate does not lower towards the cylinder
o Control that the pressure on the pedal is effectively transmitted.
o Check that the finger guard bar is not blocked in the intervention position.
If the incident persists, call the authorised Technical Assistance Service if the incident persists after
checking and finishing these operations.
7.2.
Alarms and alerts.
The machine is equipped with an electronic controller that added to governing its normal functions
constantly monitors certain basic parameters of the ironer. As well as the electronic safety devices, it is
equipped with electromechanical safety systems that guarantee a high degree of protection even when
the electronic control does not work.
