In order to install both channelling kits you must follow these steps:
-
Unscrew and remove the roof from the stove.
-
Break the pre-cutting chosen (right or left) to be able to place the channelling kit. Then, the fan must be positioned in the selected position (top or
EN
rear) and secured by positioning and tightening the four screws supplied.
-
Finally, you must connect the existing cable on the fan, with the electronic board, to the CN6 connector "V2/PO" where you will control the fan
2 on the remote control and to the "AUX-1" connector to control the fan 3 on the remote control. Do not forget to turn off the power before making
this connection.
-
Break the pre-cutting of the chambers where you want to remove the channellings (top; roof of the stove; back of the stove).
-
No parameters from the technical menu need to be activated for operation, as the stove is already ready for operation of this fan.
-
Replace the stove roof and screw it back on.

8. SERVICING AND CARE

The maintenance operations guarantee a proper working of the product over its lifetime. Not making these maintenance operations will affect the
security of the product.
8.1

BURNER CLEANING

The burner cleaning must be made daily.
Remove the burner from its place and clean the holes.
Use a vacuum to get rid of the ashes in the burner. You can buy a vacuum-
cleaner in the same distributor where you bought your stove.
8.2

CLEANING THE ASH PAN

The ash pan should be emptied when necessary. The stove or insert should not be operated without having the
ash pan inside.
8.4

CLEANING THE CHIMNEY

When the pellet is burnt slowly, it produces tar deposits and other organic vapours that combined with the humidity to create soot (creosote). An
excessive accumulation of soot may cause problems in the smoke outlet and the flue may catch fire if not maintained.
The cleaning of the stove chimney should only be made when the equipment is cold. A chimney sweep should perform this task and, at the same time,
examine the smoke duct (it is recommended to write down the dates of every cleaning and keep a register of them).
34
The regulation of the channelling system is done through the stove's own electronics, being able to select the
operation of each one of the channellings, selecting the desired power level for each fan independently. In order to
1
do this, access menu 1 and select the activation of each fan and its working power.
2
-
The operation of the fans is explained in section 9.4.2.
8.3
SEALS OF THE COMBUSTION DOOR AND THE GLASS
FIBRE
The seals of the door and the glass fibre guarantee the hermeticism of the stove
or insert and, thus, a proper performance.
It is necessary to check them regularly; if they are worn-out or damaged they
should be replaced immediately. You can find ceramic cord and self-adhesive
fibre at the same Boreal distributor where you bought your stove.
These operations should be done exclusively by an authorised technician.
An authorised technician must do the maintenance at least
once a year.
