Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and ensure compatibility.
5
Connection and operation
Ground short circuit and fire hazard
•
Do NOT connect USB devices, which are already connected to the pow-
er inverter, parallely back by another interface of the car!
•
Never place the DC/AC inverver near flammable materials or where
flammable gases may develop.
•
Make sure that the DC/AC power inverter is switched off before you start
the connection.
•
Use the battery clip cable and connect the power inverter directly to the
battery if you use the power inverter in a car and the power exceeds
150 W.
If you use the power inverter in a car and the power is equal or less than 150
W, you can connect the power inverter to the DC power cable via the car out-
let.
1. Connect the Power Inverter dependent on preferred use first over the
minus (7) and then over the positive pole (8) either
a) to the DC cable in right polarity for operating on car sockets or
b) to the battery clip cable in right polarity for direct operating on the
car battery.
2. Make sure that the screw posts of the negative and positive poles are
tightened tightly after fastening the selected connection cable through
the eyelets.
3. Connect the respective cable now to the voltage source either
a) to an easily accessible 12 V car socket when using the DC cable or
b) to the battery pins when using the battery clip cable.
4. Connect your household electrical appliance to the safety socket.
Therefore, attend to the maximum power of 150W. Heat and coldness
generating products normally have a too high energy consumption for
this product.
5. Connect your USB device to the USB Output.
Therefore, attend to the maximum current of 2100 mA.
6. Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON (-).
7. Make sure, the operating LED (4) is lit.
For some car types you have to switch on ignition.
8. Switch the ON/OFF switch to OFF (o) after use and disconnect all cable
connections.
