• do not add fresh product to half dried - this will slow down
the
drying process.
• correct food storage after drying also will help to keep food
in good quality and save the nutrients (see "STORAGE" issue).
STORAGE
• wait until food is cool before storage.
• food can be kept longer if stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
• remove all the air you possibly can from the storage container
and close the lid tightly.
• optimal storage temperature is 15°С or lower.
• never store food directly in a metal container.
• do not dry the food pretreated in alcohol or food that was
marinated in alcohol.
• onions and tomatoes have the best ability to absorb the mois-
ture from the air, so they should be packed immediately after
they have been dried.
• check the contents of your dried food for moisture during the
weeks following dehydration. If there is moisture inside, you
should dehydrate the contents for a longer time to avoid spoiling.
• for best quality, dried fruit, vegetables, verdure, herbs, nuts,
bread should not be kept for more than 1 year, if kept in the
refrigerator or freezer.
• do not store dried fruit and dried vegetables together in one
container to avoid scent mixing.
• dried meats, game, poultry and fish should be stored for no
more than 3 months if kept in the refrigerator, or 1 year if kept
in the freezer.
• use dried food as soon as poccible after you opened the
sealed container.
CLEANING and STORAGE
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
Let the lid cool down. To clean the trays, base, fruit roll tray
wash them in warm water and soap.

• ATTENTION! Do not run the appliance for more than 40 hours
in one single use. After 40 hours, turn off the appliance, unplug
it and allow to cool for at least 2 hours before operating again.

• do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after

• do not immerse the lid, power cord and plug into water or any
other liquid and do not use near basins, sink, near running water,
etc. If, however, the lid fell down in water, unplug it and take it out.
