2.4 Cleaning
∙ You must keep your protective helmet assembly clean
∙ Clean the helmet assembly after each use, but before inspection
∙ NEVER use a helmet that is not thoroughly cleaned and dried
∙ Clean the helmet shell, the visors and all plastic parts with warm water and mild
detergent using a soft sponge or cloth
NEVER clean any part of the helmet or visor with abrasives, solvents, petrol,
acids, etc., as this can have negative effects on the protective function.
∙ The fabric head band covers can easily be removed from the headband and can be
washed in a washing machine at low temperature (use a mild detergent only).
Dry all materials completely before reassembling and before use.
∙ Chinstrap cleaning
The chinstrap should be cleaned as required.
After removal from the helmet shell it can be washed in a washing machine at low
temperature (use a mild detergent only).
Dry all materials completely before reassembling and before use.
Reassemble the chinstrap carefully!
After reassembling of the chinstrap take care that all fixing parts must be securely
locked again to ensure the safety function of all elements.
2.5 Inspection
Inspect each element of the helmet assembly after EACH use carefully for function,
cleanliness, tears, cracks, holes and any physical, impact, thermal and use damage.
