1. LPBus (RJ45)
Low Power Bus (LPBus) allows quicker connection to devices that operate on a lower
power level. The LPBus can connect to Avire external audio units and other LPBus
enabled devices. Refer to product specific device installation guides for further details.
2.- Battery Configuration
The JP1 jumper is shipped from the factory in the OFF position (battery
disconnected).
Enable Battery - If using 2-wire CANbus connection so the TOC DAU can
utilise internal battery backup
Disable - if using 4-wire CANbus connection due to DCP on board
battery backup to power system.
3. External Siren Connection
Type N output, open collector, configurable by
parameters (see configuration of outputs). The
maximum switching voltage is 30VDC and the
maximum current for each output is 150mA.
Step 1
Disconnect the
screws from the DAU
housing. Take care
not to disconnect the
internal microphone
at connector (8) from
the lid when opening.
Step 2
Follow the steps below that
detail the function of each
input/output. Configuration will
depend on site conditions or
installer preference.
