Wipe off powder coated surfaces with soft, moist rag. For lacquer surfaces, use suitable cleaners. Do
•
not clean heater with cleaners that are combustible or corrosive.
Remove debris from the burner to keep it clean and safe for use.
•
In case you leave the appliance unused for a long time, isolate the burner (i.e. by using a plastic bag)
•
in order to avoid the insects nest-building and the dusting for which the manufacturer doesn't take
the responsibility.
To clean the injector and the duct of the pilot flame, remove
•
the protective metal mesh. On the right side of the valve, in a
steel tube of about 1 cm in diameter, is located a small copper
tube curved. Unscrew the retaining screw, remove the copper
tubing and blow compressed air inside the steel tube.
It may be necessary to clean the brass injector mounted on
•
copper tubing, but this should only be performed by qualified
personnel .
Heat the brass injector with a lighter to melt the glue.
After this operation, the injector will be hot and then unscrew
it with pliers or gloves.
Clean the injector with liquid detergent (can be used
•
detergent for flooring), rinse with running water and dry it by
blowing compressed air.
Screw the injector by applying a drop of sealing fillets or
loktite on the thread of copper tubing.
CAUTION: Do not exceed with the seal fillets because
•
abundant drippings of liquid could clog the injector hole again.
Reassemble everything pushing up the injector in order to
pass the locking screw that, once screwed without tightening
exaggerated, will only keep the injector into the correct
position.
If necessary, contact the assistance office.
