•
Remove the cover of the refrige-
rant connections from the external
aggregate
Ensure to keep the respective screw!
•
Proceed as described above at the
side of the water heater to get access
to the flare ports.
4.2.
Connecting the refrigerant lines to the external aggregate
Any connection between external aggregate and boiler has to be made with
new copper pipes (of refrigerant quality) that have been insulated separately. If
the refrigerant lines are exposed to bad weather or UV radiation and its insula-
tion is not respectively resistant, provide for suitable protection.
In order to function properly, the refrigerant lines have to be at least of 5 m
length.
If the device is used with refrigerant lines of less than 5 m length, our guarantee
shall be excluded.
Equip the lines with safety caps and lay them through the walls.
•
Expand the lines with an expanding
mandrel after the flare nuts have
been put on.
•
Then check the expanded area.
There must not be any scratches or
potential cracks. Also check "L" (2.5
to 2.7 mm for lines of 3/8'' and 1.8 to
2.0 mm for lines of 1/4'').
