ASSEMBLY
Inflatable Products – Aquaglide makes some of the highest quality inflatable products in the world.
With proper care and maintenance, our products are expected to last for years under normal use. We list
important tips and instructions below. If unsure about any point, please reach us through our website at
Aquaglide.com/contact-us.
Air Pump: This product includes an inflation bag and an ultralight foot pump for convenient inflation in
the Backwoods environment. You may prefer to use other optional pumps for faster inflation. A compact
ultralight hand pump is common. Other frequently used options are high-volume electrical pumps
operating on either 12v (car battery) or AC mains power (120v or 230v) depending on available power
sources. Air compressors designed for high-pressure inflation are not recommended because they can
easily lead to over-inflation.
Valves: This product uses Boston valves and Twist-Lock valves. Boston valve base is permanently
welded to the craft. Valve body with attached cap threads

into valve base. Boston valve can be replaced if lost or
damaged.
Valve Operation: To operate Boston valve, insert valve body
into valve base and thread securely by turning clockwise.
This is best done with cap attached. Remove cap to prepare
for inflation. Inflation can be done with included inflation bag,
foot pump, or optional air pump with a Boston valve fitting.
Insert pump hose with Boston fitting firmly into valve for
inflation. See A.
To deflate, leave cap in place and unscrew valve body by
turning counterclockwise. See B.
C
Twist-Lock valve is used on seat for easy inflation and control. To open,
locate black hose-end fitting valve and twist counterclockwise. Inflate using
pump with Boston fitting (over valve), or by mouth. Close by twisting black
hose-end fitting clockwise. See C.
D
Inflation Bag: This product includes a storage/ inflation
bag. To inflate, remove spare valve from bottom of bag
and set aside. Thread bag's valve base onto Boston valve
attached to boat by turning clockwise until secure. Spread
top of bag apart and fill with air using quick pulling motion.
Close top of bag and seal by flat-rolling two times, then
linking quick-connect buckle. Squeeze bag to press air into
boat. Repeat several times until boat is inflated. Remove
bag and close valve with cap. See D
Molle Plate: Product is fitted with molle plates
E
[pronounced Molly - an acronym for modular lightweight
load-carrying equipment] designed to fit a wide range of
aftermarket accessories including AG Cupholder, sold
separately. Plate accepts most molle/ pals accessories
with standard 1" (25mm) webbing ladder. One mesh
pouch is included for each molle plate. To install, push
plastic spring-snaps downward through outermost molle
loops, then adjust rope tension to suit needs. See E.
Proper Working Pressure for each chamber is listed below. Do not overfill or underfill. Excessive
pressure can cause damage to the product and may void the warranty. Do not use without adequate air
pressure. Product can become unstable if underfilled and may not support indicated capacity. Use a
pressure gauge (manometer) to carefully monitor air pressure in the product especially during hot or cool
periods.
