Receiver and Base Unit Set Up/Operation

1. Plug one of the two Receiver A/C Adapters into the DC Adapter Jack on the Base Unit. Plug into a standard wall outlet (120 volt).
Note: Use one of the AC Adapters that is smaller in size but has a larger plug.
2. Position Base Unit near television and insert Receiver into Base Unit.
3. Connect set of Audio/Video Cables to the Base Unit. The red (audio) cable plugs into the Audio Output Jack. The yellow (video) cable
plugs into the Video Output Jack. Connect other end of cables to television (see "Options for Set Up to TV" below).
4. Turn Receiver on and select desired volume using the On/Volume Dial. Select a channel that corresponds to the channel that the
camera is set to (A,B,or C).
Note: • Follow instructions in "Options for Set Up to TV" for switching from television program to monitor mode.
• When viewing child, the sound will be emitted from both the Receiver and the TV.
• To hear your child while watching a television program, adjust the Receiver volume to appropriate level. Or turn the Receiver
volume down and use only the Sound Lights to indicate if there are sounds in the nursery.
• Be sure your Camera is set up, turned on, and set to a channel that corresponds with the Receiver.
• If your television is off, you can continue to use the Sound and Sight Monitor as a traditional audio monitor. No need to
disconnect any cables. Simply turn Receiver on and set volume.
• If your television is hooked up to a DSS Receiver or other Audio/Video device using Audio/Video cables, you can connect
the Receiver to the LINE IN jack on the component.
