B. Remove the blade guard by removing the
2 screws (Fig 17).
C. Use the hexagonal wrench to hold the blade
nut and use the spanner wrench provided to
hold the shaft. Loosen the nut turning
clockwise as in (Fig 18).
D. Ensure that the shaft and flanges are clean.
Mount blade back on to shaft ensuring that
the directional arrow on the blade is rotating
towards the material to be cut.
E. Insert flange and lock nut. Tighten
counterclockwise.

MAINTENANCE

CAUTION! While doing maintenance on the saw, always pull the plug out of the electrical socket.
1. Never use water or any other chemicals to clean the electrical parts of the machine.
2. Use a soft cloth to clean and dust the machine.
3. Keep the ventilation slots of the motor clean to prevent overheating of the motor.
4. Dry the saw.
A. Periodic maintenance of the saw will prevent unnecessary problems.
B. Keep the ventilation slots of the saw clean to prevent overheating of the motor.
C. Dry the saw as much as possible after each use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Overheating of saw;
A. Turn bridge saw off and let it rest until motor is cool to the touch.
B. Check and clean the ventilation slots, removing blockage and dirt.
2. The saw does not start;
A. Check that power cord is properly plugged in.
B. No power from outlet.
C. Switch is damaged.
