SCHEDULE
MANUAL OPERATION
DESCRIPTION
The MIRUS TOUCH timed-thermostat is a programmable electronic unit designed
for switch On-Off management of a heating or air-conditioning system. It enables
three types of programmable temperatures (comfort, savings and anti-icing) to be
assigned at different times of the day and on different days of the week.
Specifications:
Large-size touch screen with back-lighting.
 3 adjustable temperature levels: Comfort
 Temperature regulation from +5ºC to +35ºC (anti-icing from +1 ºC to +10 ºC).
 Weekly programming: 7 independent programmable programs (one for each day
of the week).
 COPY function for copying the complete programme from one day of the week to
another.
 Minimum periods of 30 minutes between temperature levels.
 Simple programming away from the installation base.
INSTALLATION:
WARNING: The assembly and installation of the electric apparatus must be carried
out by an authorised installer.
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE INSTALLATION, IT MUST BE ENSURED
THAT THE WIRES TO BE CONNECTED ARE NOT CONNECTED TO
ELECTRICAL POWER.
The unit is internally protected against interference.
MOUNTING:
An electronic control device for independent installation on a wall or mechanism
box.
It is recommended that the unit be installed at a minimum height of 1.5 metres. The
timed thermostat installation must be independent so that it is free from obstacles
and not affected by devices or heat sources (the sun, radiators, windows etc).
When fixing the unit to a wall or changing the batteries, it has to be released from
the securing base by applying pressure, using a flat screwdriver, to the tab on the
left side.
Secure the installation plate to the wall or mechanism box using the supplied
screws.
CONNECTION:
Remove the terminal cover with a screwdriver and connect the unit in accordance
with the following diagram:

In order to control an installation via contactors, it is recommended to install a
suitable capacitor into its winding (0.1 µF, 275 Vac)

INSTALLING AND REPLACING BATTERIES:
The unit is powered by two 1.5 V LR6 (AA) alkaline batteries (not included). The
polarity indicated in the battery compartment must be respected. Battery lifetime is
approximately one year.
When the batteries are first installed, the screen is activated and all the display
segments are shown, then, after a few seconds, the timed thermostat enters in

When the batteries lose their charge and have to be replaced, the following symbol
is displayed in the lower section of the screen:
In order not to lose the current time, day of the week and temperature values,
battery replacement should be replaced in less than fifteen seconds. The fixed
programming always remains in the memory.
The spent batteries must be deposited in a container designed for this purpose.
Respect the environment.
TOUCH SCREEN
In order to interact with the timed thermostat, simply touch one of the eight touch-
screen icons with your finger (never use ball-point pens or other pointed objects).
The

icons are multi-function and provide various functions depending
on the time it is touched (brief, intermediate or prolonged). After five minutes
without use, the unit enters the standby mode; leaving
(the others are disabled). To reactivate the MIRUS TOUCH simply press the
for three seconds.
BACK-LIGHTING
Display back-lighting is activated every time an icon is pressed on the touch screen
so that correct display is provided even under low-light conditions. Back-lighting is
automatically switched off ten seconds after the last screen press.
SETTING THE TIME
With the screen active, press

buttons to select the current year and then press

day and time. If nothing is pressed for five seconds the unit returns to the
established configuration.
WEEKLY PROGRAMMING
The unit leaves the factory with the following programming:
Monday to Friday:
Savings
: 00:00 to 06:00, 09:00 to 12:00, 15:00 to 17:00 and 22:00 to 00:00.
Comfort
: 06:00 to 09:00, 12:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 22:00.
Saturdays and Sundays:
Savings

MODIFYING PROGRAMS
With the screen active, press the
Set", the temperature type for each time and day of the week.
Press the
button again to select the day of the week to be programmed, the
screen will display the number of the day of the week next to "DAY" (Monday – 1,
Tuesday – 2 etc), programme the required temperature type in time periods of
thirty minutes (for the 24 hours) beginning with 00:00 hours. To define the
temperature type to apply to a time period, press the button corresponding to the
desired temperature (Comfort:
is defined, the system moves on to the next time period. Use the
to move through the time periods leaving the temperatures that are already
assigned.
In order to see which time period is being programmed, the display shows the start
time and the time table symbol corresponding to the control temperature defined in
the programme being modified will be flashing.
If there is no flashing symbol on the time schedule, it means that the timed
thermostat remains off in the time period we are programming (the anti-icing mode
remains active).
