Capacitance measurement
WARNING
on live circuits. Safely discharge capacitor before testing.
•
Insert the black connector lead (S) into the COM (black)
input terminal (I) and the red connector lead (S) into the V
(red) terminal (M).
•
Set the function switch (K) to the Ω/CAP position.
•
Press the MODE/VFD button (H) until the nF symbol
appears on the display (F).
•
Connect the test probes (S) to the capacitor being tested.
•
If OL appears on the display (F), remove and discharge the
capacitor.
•
Read the capacitance on the display (F).

measurement, it can take several minutes before the final
reading stabilizes.
