This is an electronic measuring device. Please
keep the thermometer, in particular the batte-
ries, the (hot) temperature probe and the (hot)
wire away from children!
Always ensure your hands are suitably protec-
ted (e.g. oven gloves) when removing the pro-

the hot wire to avoid burns!
Do not attempt to make any changes to or
repair components of the device. This may
lead to damage in which case the guarantee
becomes void.
Protect the device from direct sunlight, high
temperatures, high humidity levels, extreme
dust and great impact to prevent damage and
malfunction.
Wire and probe are heat resistant up to 250° C.
Please ensure this temperature is not exceeded
as the material is not intended for this. The
material is also not suitable for contact with
a direct flame. Never hold the temperature
probe in an open flame!
Never use the device to measure temperature
in a microwave.
Care instructions
Clean the metal probe and wire before using
for the first time and after each use (parti-
cularly before first use) with a mild washing
up liquid and hot water. Dry carefully. The
electronic measuring unit may be wiped with
a damp cloth (do not use harsh detergents!).
Dry thoroughly. Never immerse the electronic
measuring unit in liquid or water.
The cooking thermometer and its elements are
NOT suitable for dishwasher use.
Liability will not be assumed for damage
caused as a result of incorrect handling. Please
read instructions for use carefully and keep for
later reference.
