The appliance you have purchased has been
specifically designed for continuous mechanical
extract ventilation of dwellings with between 2 and 7
mains rooms (from F2 to F7 types under French
legislation).
The HCS model is equipped with 3-speed AC motors
with thermal overload cut-out and shaft turning in ball
bearings to guarantee long lasting continuous service
(at least 30000 h) at the maximum data plate
temperature.
The premium quality of the materials and components
used in addition to the advanced air design of the
aerodynamic
sections
requirements are met.
Generally speaking, the appliance should be
positioned in a false ceiling and, if possible, in a central
position relative to the extraction vents.
If the appliance is installed in a area that people use
and where the ceiling is lower than 2.3 metres, use the
accessories supplied or fit grilles or some other device
that cannot be removed without the use of tools. Air
extraction and circulation with this appliance is quiet
and uninterupted.
Stale air is extracted via the fixed extract grilles in the
non-habitable "wet" rooms (kitchens, utilities,
bath/shower rooms and WCs).
The HCS model is equipped with electronically
controlled relative humidity sensors with threshold set
at installation.
Warning
Ventilation must be continuous. Never stop the
ventilation unit, except of course for maintenance or
cleaning.
