Dismantle, check, replace faulty parts and re-assemble.

Clean filter material and only use biological filter
material (JBL MicroMec mini) in special filter baskets
(accessory).
Solution
Hold water outlet firmly and gently pull flow regulator
upwards. Clean with JBL BioClean A (specialist pet
shop). Rinse in water and reassemble.
Solution
Run an old and new filter parallel for 2 weeks in the
same aquarium or incorporate 1/3 of the old filter
material in the new filter. Never carry out a "general
clean up" of the aquarium at the same time!
