- Always remove the battery (1) before making any adjustments to the grooving machine.
- The sharp cutting edges can cause injuries. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to wear
protective gloves.
Setting the groove depth

The straight top edge of the indicator (17) shows the groove depth on the scale (18). To set the grooving
depth, use the adjusting screw (19). As a rough guide, use two thirds of the covering thickness and up to
half the wire diameter. However, the specifications provided by the manufacturer always take priority. Check
the groove depth by carrying out a grooving test.
Adjusting the guide and rear guide rollers

Align the guide roller (9) and rear guide roller (20) centrally in relation to the cutter blade. To adjust the
position of the rollers, use an open-end wrench to loosen the narrow hexagon nut on the base plate. If you
need to change the rollers, you can remove them completely by loosening the narrow hexagon nut with the
open-end wrench and then using a size 5 hexagon key (15).
