2.4 Removing the standard seat

Caution:
Before starting the removal process, check to ensure that your vehicle is parked safely and that
you will always have a good foothold whilst carrying out the work.
Please note that the seat can weigh up to 50 kg. Use lifting or carrying equipment whenever
necessary.
Important note:
Remove the standard seat together with the console and the belt lock from the vehicle.
The new screws supplied in the kit must always be used to secure the RECARO seat in place.
Warning (risk of entrapment):
There is a risk of your fingers being crushed or trapped when lowering the seat and moving the
bottom rails!
1. Loosen the rail screw fittings on the original seat and remove the screws.
2. Vent the vehicle's air system.
3. Disconnect the electrical connection and the air connection from the vehicle's connections.
4. Carefully lift the seat out of the vehicle and place it next to the vehicle.
5. Loosen the console fastening screws on the floor of the vehicle and remove the console.
