1. Place the adapter (1) on the floor of the vehicle. Take note of the markings (arrow)!
Important note:
The adapter has hole patterns with a side offset of 25mm and a length offset of 40mm. Select the
drilled holes in such a way that after the seat is fitted sufficient space exists for the operation of
the adjusting elements and the seat can be adjusted without colliding with the cabin parts.
You must ensure that you use M8 screws, with a minimum head diameter of 14.2mm (SW13),
minimum strength class 10.9 and appropriate bolt adhesive (e.g. Loctite).
The length of the screw must be selected in such a way that at least two threads stand out above
the nut in a screwed-down condition.
Warning!
If the screw length is too short, the screws will work loose whilst you are driving. The risk of an
accident and being injured whilst driving exists in such a case.
2. Tightly screw the adapter with suitable screws (2) and appropriate bolt adhesive using the stipulated
torque.
Torque: M8 screws: 25 Nm ± 2 Nm
Warning!
Ensure that you neither exceed nor fall short of the torque listed above.
If the torque is insufficient, the screws will work loose whilst you are driving. The thread might be
damaged if the torque is too high. The risk of an accident and being injured whilst driving exists in
both cases.
The vehicle must be stopped immediately if a screw works loose and the screws must be replaced
by new screws and tightened up to the stipulated torque with the screw locking device.
