The right to make technical modifications is reserved.
Established trade practices must be observed.
Warranty is subject to compliance with these instructions!
Important!
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806). Damage resulting from improper care,
natural wear or excessive use are excluded from our
warranty.
Application:
Thermostat mixers are designed for hot water supply via
pressurised storage heaters and, utilised in this way, provide
the best temperature accuracy.
With sufficient power output (from 18 kW or 250 kcal/min),
electric or gas instantaneous heaters are also suitable.
All thermostats are adjusted in the factory at a flow pressure
of 3 bar on both sides.
If static pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducing valve
must be fitted.
Technical data
Minimum flow pressure without
downstream resistances:
Minimum flow pressure with
downstream resistances:
Operating pressure (static pressure):
Test pressure:
Flow rate at 0.3 MPa flow pressure
Bath: 20 l/min
Max. temperature at hot water supply
Recommended (energy saving)
Hot water temperature at supply connection min. 2 °C higher
than mixed water temperature
Safety stop
Minimum flow rate
Installation:
Install connections and screw-mount the mixer.
Reversed union (hot on right - cold on left). Replace
thermostatic cartridge, Prod. no. 47 657.
Function:
Check connections for leaks and check function of
fitting.
Temperature limitation
The safety stop limits the temperature range to 38 °C.
The 38 °C limit can be overridden by pressing the
button.
Volume limit:
The flow rate is limited by a stop adjusted at the
factory. If a higher flow rate is desired, the stop can
be overridden by pressing the button.
Flow is diverted automatically from shower outlet to
bath inlet when the fitting is closed.
Flow rate adjustment:
The adjustment range can be set via the stop.
Adjustment:
Should temperature deviations occur on account of
special installation conditions, the thermostat must
be adapted to local conditions.
Prevention of frost damage
When the domestic water system is drained,
thermostat mixers must be drained separately, since
non-return valves are installed in the hot and cold
water connections. For this purpose, the mixer must
be removed from the wall.
Maintenance:
Shut off water supply for maintenance work.
Inspect and clean all parts, replace if necessary and
lubricate with special valve grease.
Non-return valves
The function of non-return valves must be checked
regularly according to EN 1717 and in accordance
with national or regional regulations (at least once a
0.5 MPa
year)
Remove connection nipple by turning clockwise (left-
hand thread) using a 12mm allen key.
1 MPa
max. 1 MPa
Thermostatic cartridge
Observe the correct installation position of the stop
1.6 MPa
ring.
Readjustment is necessary after every maintenance
operation on the thermostatic compact cartridge.
Shower: 28 l/min
80 °C
Ceramic headpart
Observe the correct installation position of the
60 °C
economy stop.
Flow straightener
If the flow rate drops, descale the air bubbler.
38 °C
In the event of other faults, contact an installer.
= 5 l/min
