Pegging
CAUTION!
Risk of injuries due to sharp pegs!
• Do not let children play near the AIR Awning and wear gloves when pegging.
1. Close all doors and entrances (fig. 0, on page 4).
2. Stretch the sides walls and the front of the AIR Awning smooth.
3. Peg the front corners (fig. 8 B, on page 3).
4. Attach the ladder straps to all pegging points (fig. 8 C, on page 3).
5. Align the AIR Poles in the middle to the outer ones.
6. Fix the pegging points on doors and openings crosswise (fig. 8 D, on page 3).
7. Fix all remaining pegging points.
8. Align the overall shape of the AIR Awning optically smooth.
9. Make sure that the connection to the motorhome/caravan is correct.
10. Inflate the AIR Poles (0,62 bar / 9 psi).
11. Replace the pump valve cap and turn it firmly.
Quick pitch guying system
CAUTION!
Risk of tripping due to quick pitch and storm tie-down straps!
Injuries are possible.
• Do not let children play near the AIR Awning.
Use the quick pitch guying system at all times.
Normally use the supplied heavy duty steel pegs. The heavy duty steel pegs are suitable for most sites, but in some cases other
pegs will be necessary. Your dealer has various pegs in stock that are suitable for different types of ground.
NOTE:
Fix the pegs into the ground at an angle of 45° in relation to the pegging point.
The corner straps are pegged at an angle of 45°. The straps on the front are pegged at an angle of 90° to the
wall (fig. 9, on page 4).
1. Pull out the straps to their full length.
2. Peg the loop and check that the webbing is tensioned.
3. Pull the straps through the buckle.
NOTE:
Do not overtighten the straps.
Storm tie-down kit
Use the supplied storm tie-down straps for additional safety (fig. b, on page 4). Peg the storm straps under tension, but
not so tight that the shape of the AIR Awning is affected. Always use the tie-down straps in pairs.
Curtains
1. Assign the curtains to the windows for different window sizes.
2. Mount the curtains (fig. a, on page 4).
Rear upright poles
1. Remove the rear upright poles (fig. i, on page 7) from the transport bag.
2. Fit the rear upright poles together.
3. Insert the upper part of the rear upright pole into the AIR Awning flap and fix the height with the fixing lever carefully
(fig. e, on page 5). Repeat this procedure on the other side.
