SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
ATTENTION: Read this manual carefully before using the seat and keep it in the
case provided as a reference. Failure to follow these instructions will compromise
the safety of your child.
•
Mount the child car seat of group 2-3 only on a seat that is facing forwards (in
the direction of travel) and is equipped with a three-point belt.
•
The rigid components and plastic parts of the child restraint system shall be
placed and assembled in such a way that they cannot be trapped under a
movable seat or in the vehicle door during normal use of the vehicle.
•
All straps used to secure the restraint system in the vehicle shall be tightened.
•
The straps used to fasten the child must be correctly fastened and adjusted.
The straps must not be twisted. In addition, the lap belts must be fastened
as low as possible to keep the pelvis in a comfortable and healthy position.
•
The restraint system must be replaced if it has been heavily loaded in an
accident.
•
Safety is compromised if the system is modifi ed or supplemented without
the approval of the competent authority or if the manufacturer's instructions
for the installation of the child restraint system are not carefully followed.
•
Protect the seat from direct sunlight to prevent the child from getting burnt.
•
Never leave children unattended in a restraint system.
•
Ensure that luggage or other items that may cause injury in a collision are
properly secured.
•
The child restraint system must not be used without the corresponding seat
cover. The seat cover may only be replaced by a cover recommended by the
manufacturer as it has a direct eff ect on the behaviour of the restraint system.
•
In case of doubt, please contact the manufacturer of the child restraint system
regarding installation and use of the seat.
•
The child restraint system must be attached to seats listed in your vehicle's
manual under the „Universal" category. Do not use any points of loaded
contact other than those described in the instructions and marked on the
restraint system.
•
The mounting on the rear seat is always preferable, even in cases where road
traffi c regulations permit mounting on the front seat.
•
Ensure that the vehicle's seat belt is engaged.
•
In winter, make sure that the child is not dressed too thickly when buckling up.
